🌴 is this jungle fire circle a vacation or a retreat?

Participating in jungle fire circle | autumn equinox is not taking a vacation. This jungle fire circle is an intentional, immersive experience curated to deepen your connection with the earth and foster an abiding sense of balance. Should any uncomfortable feelings or emotions arise during the retreat, you will be lovingly supported and held to facilitate integration.​

🌴 what exactly do you mean by communal fire hearth cooking?

​

Excellent question. You’re here to deepen your connection with the earth, not wash dishes. The staff at A to Z Eco🌺Farm handles all cooking prep and cleanup, enabling participants to optionally enjoy the experience of cooking together over the fire.

🌴 is the menu plant based?

​

The menu is heavily plant based with many vegan options. Some dishes may be vegetarian with the inclusion of eggs, butter, or cheese. Fish will be roasted and served on multiple occasions.

🌴 what amenities are provided?

​

Guests of the ecofarm are provided with thoughtful amenities to ensure a comfortable jungle stay. You'll be provided with an organic jungle bath kit, headlamp, and rubber slippers, among other traditional amenities.

🌴 what is the bathroom and shower situation?

​

Another excellent question. The ecofarm intentionally does not have showers because we only bathe in the river! A couple of permanent outhouses are scattered around the property—all very breezy, private, and intentionally throne like.

🌴 how do i select my sleeping accommodations?

​

Sleeping spaces are assigned on a first-come-first-served basis. Be the first to register if you wish to sleep riverside in the master cabaña!

🌴 is there electricity and/or wifi?

​

Your sleeping space intentionally does not have electricity (nor does it have air conditioning). The ecofarm runs on solar power, which is available at the main house for charging your devices. The wifi will be turned on for one optional, intentional hour per day.

 

🌴 what do i need to know about Belize?

​

Belize is a small, English-speaking country in Central America with a relaxed pace of life and rich blend of Caribbean, Latin American, and post-colonial influences. The local currency is the Belize dollar, which is pegged 2:1 to the U.S. dollar, with U.S. dollars widely accepted. Belize is easy to navigate, warm year-round, and known for its lush jungle, scenic rivers, barrier reef, and extensive cave system. Belize is lovingly nicknamed The Jewel.

Complete a short form that includes reading & acknowledging the retreat waiver. Submit your non-refundable payment (whether a 60% deposit or in full) and celebrate 🎉 your courageous act of self care. Look for a welcome email from jungle fire goddess in your inbox!

🌴 what should i bring?

​

Bring yourself. Bring lightweight clothing, swimwear for the river + mudpit, comfortable shoes that can get dirty, sandals, and a reusable water bottle. A detailed packing list will be provided after booking.
